A longblock is our most popular choice. It is a fast, more economical and less technical choice for and individual with average mechanical skills.  A longblock is the entire basic engine.  Swapping of the exhaust, carburetion, ignition, clutch and sheet metal is what you need to perform, in order to complete an engine exchange.  A longblock fits the same vehicles as the shortblock.
